IVS 2022 in Bergamo
The Industrial Valve Summit ended last week and sets new records.
The new exhibition hall concept with an additional pavilion lead to a new exhibition dimension. More than 300 exhibitors from 12 different countries came together on 15 000 square meters: Italy, Germany, Great Britain, the United States of America, France, South Korea, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Turkey and the Czech Republic. The IVS was attended by more than 12 000 visitors from 90 different countries. That is an increase of 17% compared to the previous year.
We participated for the first time . Our focus: Hydrogen.
What was the focus of IVS? Also hydrogen and its role in the industry.
For the first time the opening event was the round table examining new scenarios linked to decarbonization. A big discussion group with about 50 experts from all over the world met together to complete a five main theme session. Latest innovations and applications in the field of decarbonization and the presentation of several studies and analyzes accompanied the three days in Bergamo. Sustainability-oriented shear topics such as carbon capture and storage (CSS) technologies, biofuel landscape, biorefineries and bioenergy completed the look into future technologies in the field of industrial fittings and valves industry.

All in all: the ISV developed through the last few years into an important trade fair venue for the industry, where decision-makers, technicians and managers of end users and engineering, procurement and construction companies get into B2B contact and propose individual solutions.
We are already looking forward to the 5th edition of the IVS on May 15th and 16th at the Fiera di Bergamo.
